Looking to add a new member to the family but don't know where to start? No problem, how about asking yourself what it is that you're looking for in a new dog? What kind of lifestyle do you lead (active, low-key), how much time is spent away from home due to work or other commitments, is there a particular kind of breed you prefer, do you have children or other dogs/cats?
There are plenty of factors to take into consideration when welcoming a new dog into your home. Once you've figured out what kind of dog you want to adopt, check out the dogs we currently have available for adoption. All of our dogs are in foster homes so we have the best knowledge and can answer any questions about a dog you're interested.
If you are interested in one of our adoptable dogs all you have to do is reach out to us for an adoption application via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
Our process begins with the adoption application which needs to be completed entirely before submitting. Incomplete applications will not be considered. If you currently have pets in the home they must be spayed/neutered, updated on vaccinations and receive monthly flea and heart worm prevention unless otherwise directed by a veterinarian. We will do a vet check so please contact your vet BEFORE submitting the application to give them permission to release your information to us; this will only cause delays in the process if this is not done prior. Once we review your application and the vet check (if applicable) is complete we will be in touch to schedule a home check. Our home check involves one of our team members coming to your home to ensure it is the best fit for the dog (and you and your family) you're hoping to adopt. During the home check we do try to schedule the meet and greet with you and our dog so everyone can meet one another and also introduce our dog to any other animals in the home.
We do not finalize adoptions on the day of the home check/meet and greet. We don't want anyone to feel pressured to make a decision on the spot. We ask potential adopters to take time to think about the decision before letting us know and this also gives us a chance to assess things and determine if in fact the adoption is the right fit.
Our adoption fee is $200 and includes the dog being spayed/neutered, updated on vaccinations, heart worm tested and micro chipped. NO EXCEPTIONS. We work with an amazing veterinary staff who ensure our dogs are healthy and any medical issues are corrected and/or treated PRIOR to any adoption.
